UP Health System – Portage Welcomes Orthopedic & Total Joint Specialist, Andre Oulai, MD

UP Health System – Portage (UPHS – Portage) is pleased to welcome Andre Oulai, MD, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and fellowship-trained total joint specialist, to its orthopedics team. Dr. Oulai will provide treatment and surgical procedures for the posterior total hip, minimally invasive anterior total hip, total knee, total joint revisions and general fracture care.   

Dr. Oulai earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences in Ohio. He continued his post-graduate internship and training with Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, where he then went on to complete the orthopedic surgery residency program. Dr. Oulai then completed his total joint replacement fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI.

Prior to joining UPHS – Portage, Dr. Oulai gained years of experience in his field working for various health systems and medical groups across Michigan, Kansas and Indiana.

“I am excited to be joining the medical staff and orthopedic team at UPHS – Portage,” said Dr. Oulai. “We are dedicated to our patients, staff and community, and I am fortunate to continue to offer orthopedic services and total joints in the Upper Peninsula.”
