UP Health System – Portage is pleased to announce that Nicholas Faiver, DPM, FACFAS, has joined UP Medical Group – Portage Podiatry, expanding access to specialized foot and ankle care for patients across the Copper Country and surrounding communities.
Dr. Faiver specializes in foot and ankle surgery, including complex trauma, diabetic limb salvage, routine podiatric foot care, lower extremity reconstruction, peripheral nerve surgery of the leg, ankle and foot, wound care, sports medicine and arthroscopy and minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Faiver brings specialized training in the treatment of a wide range of lower-extremity conditions. He earned his medical degree from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami and completed residency training in Philadelphia at Thomas Jefferson University and with Rothman Orthopedic Institute trauma specialists. He also completed graduate education at Michigan State University in East Lansing.
