UP Health System – Marquette Welcomes Lauren Reckker, FNP-C, to Heart and Vascular Center

UP Health System – Marquette (UPHS – Marquette) is pleased to welcome Lauren Reckker, BSN, FNP-C, to its Heart and Vascular Center team. She specializes in cardiothoracic surgery, supporting heart and lung procedures, coronary artery disease, heart valve care, thoracic surgery, heart failure monitoring, minimally invasive and hybrid procedures and post-operative ICU recovery.

A Marquette native, Reckker has 11 years of experience as an ICU travel nurse caring for cardiothoracic patients across the country. “I take great pride in my years caring for cardiothoracic patients postoperatively,” she said. “I feel fortunate to build on my critical care experience in my new provider role while forming meaningful relationships with my patients and their families.”

Reckker earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northern Michigan University and her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Spring Arbor University. Outside of work, she enjoys cross-country skiing, hiking with her dogs, traveling, cooking and baking, boxing and cheering on Michigan sports teams.
