UP Health System – Marquette and UP Health System – Bell Weather Updates

Due to the ongoing winter blizzard and hazardous travel conditions across the region, UP Health System – Marquette and UP Health System – Bell will operate on essential services only on Monday, March 16 and Tuesday, March 17. The safety of our patients, staff and community remains our top priority. 

The following UP Health System – Marquette and UP Health System – Bell  services will be closed Monday, March 16 and Tuesday, March 17: 

  • Outpatient clinics, including locations in Marquette and Delta County 
  • Outpatient lab and imaging services 
  • Outpatient physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy services 
  • UP Regional Blood Center, including locations in Marquette and Delta County 
  • Scheduled (elective) procedures 
  • All other non-essential services 

The hospital will remain open and continue providing essential services and emergency care

UP Health System – Portage Weather Updates

Due to the closure of the Michigan Technological University campus, the UP Health System – Portage | Rehab Services clinic, located inside the Student Development Complex at 600 MacInnes Drive, will be closed Monday, March 16. This closure also includes the lab and X-ray services located within the Michigan Tech facility.

Additionally, Home Medical Equipment services at UP Health System – Portage are closed Monday, March 16.

UP Health System – Portage hospital, Express Care locations and all other clinics remain open and operating as usual.
