UPHS – Marquette Welcomes Physician Assistant Sydney Beaulieu to Neurosurgery Team

MARQUETTE, Mich. (Dec. 4, 2025) — UP Health System – Marquette (UPHS – Marquette) is pleased to welcome Sydney Beaulieu, PA-C, to its neurosurgery team at UPHS – Marquette. Beaulieu is a certified physician assistant providing general neurosurgical care for patients across the Upper Peninsula.

In her role, Beaulieu supports the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of neurological and spine conditions. This includes assisting in the management of brain and spinal disorders, evaluating patients with back and neck pain, coordinating care for individuals with nerve compression or movement disorders, and supporting perioperative and postoperative neurosurgical care. She also collaborates closely with the neurosurgery team to help patients navigate treatment options and achieve the best possible outcomes.

Beaulieu earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Sullivan University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences in Louisville, Kentucky, in 2022. She also holds a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Sport Science and Spanish from Northern Michigan University. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and maintains active licensures in both Michigan and Minnesota.

A Marquette native, Beaulieu says the Upper Peninsula has always been home. “I am from Marquette originally and have always considered the U.P. to be home,” she said. “I chose to practice at UP Health System because of the incredible providers and staff who work here. I’m truly honored to serve this community.”

She finds deep meaning in her work. “My goal is to support patients in becoming the healthiest version of themselves,” Beaulieu said. “Caring for the people of the U.P. is especially meaningful to me.”

Outside of work, Beaulieu enjoys running, hockey, board games and spending time with her dog, Rosie.

Beaulieu is now seeing patients at UP Health System – Marquette | Brain and Spine, located at 850 W Baraga Ave, Suite 31, Marquette, MI 49855. She is currently accepting new patients.
