What is your role at UPHS – Bell?

I'm a certified respiratory therapist in the Cardiopulmonary department. 

What was your inspiration for getting into healthcare?

Working in a job to help people. 

What’s a typical day like for you? What is it like working in this field?

Doing breathing tests, EEGs, EKGs, helping out in the Emergency Department with breathing treatments and other miscellaneous calls. 

How long have you been employed here? Have you always been in the same position?

43 years—three years as an orderly.

What are some of the big changes you have experienced in this position?

More and better equipment, and better care. 

What are some of your interests outside of work? What is your favorite local gem?

Running, walking and traveling.

What do you enjoy most about working at UPHS – Bell?
