What was your first job?
My first job was working on the family farm. It was busy and my main responsibilities were milking the cows and gardening. 

What is your favorite activity that is offered at PortagePointe? 
During the spring and summer, I enjoy spending time outside gardening. I also enjoy attending the bingo games that are offered at PortagePointe. 

What are the most important lessons you have learned in your life?
The most important lesson I have learned throughout my life is to appreciate others. You never know what someone is going through — being there to help, listen or just sit with someone is important. 

What did you and your siblings do for fun?  
Growing up, I had a large family of 12 siblings. We all enjoyed playing sports together — especially baseball.  

Tell us something interesting about yourself that some people may not know about you. 
My whole life, I have enjoyed working and keeping busy throughout the day. Even now, I walk over 10,000 steps a day! 

What do you enjoy most about living at PortagePointe? 
The company I have with my fellow peers is special and I enjoy spending time with everyone at PortagePointe.
