What is your current title and role at UPHS-Bell?  Radiographer Tech III

How long have you been employed with us? Have you always been in the same position?  25 1/2 years.  Yes, always in the same position.

Tell us a little bit about your family. How have you balanced your career at UPHS-Bell and family?  My husband Tom and I have twin boys who are now 36.  One lives in Pinckney, MI and works at a COVID testing lab.  He has a wife, Amanda, and two boys who are the light of our lives.  Our other son lives in Houghton, and is enjoying his passion – playing music.

What has been the best part about working for UPHS-Bell?  The patients and my coworkers make coming to work every day worthwhile.

What is on your wish list after you retire from UPHS-Bell?  I look forward to spending more time with our family, birding, biking and travelling.

What is your proudest moment at UPHS-Bell? When a patient goes out of their way to say thank you and express appreciation for what we do to help make their lives a little better, that sure leaves me with a warm feeling.
