What is your title and role at UPHS – Bell?
My title is Rad Tech III, fancy for Radiographer/X-ray Technologist.

How long have you been employed here? Have you always been in the same position?
I have been employed with UPHS – Bell for 19 years and have always held the same position.

What does a typical day look like for you?
On a typical day, I take care of patients needing Mammograms, Bone Density Studies, and X-ray. I try to help out wherever I am needed.

Tell us a little bit about your family:
I have been married for 23 years to my husband, Scott, who is an Environmental Engineer and works with UPEA. We have two children, Samantha (20), who works at NMU, and Nic (18), who is figuring life out.

What are some of your favorite hobbies?
I enjoy scrapbooking and dabble in wreath making.

What is your favorite local restaurant and why?
My favorite local restaurant is Vango’s (great pizza), and where my husband and I shared our first date.

What is your favorite part about working for UPHS – Bell?
My favorite part of working for UPHS – Bell is closeness with coworkers as well as our patients. You become family over time.
