Danielle Sandstrom, NP

Danielle was born and raised in Marquette, MI, and has held a variety of roles with UP Health System since she began here in 2005. After completing her Family Nurse Practitioner Certification in 2019, Danielle played an integral role in initiating the palliative care program at UP Health System - Marquette, which she now leads. "As a palliative care provider, the most compelling aspect of my role is the privilege of providing physical, emotional and psychosocial support to patients and their families during some of the most difficult times in their lives." Outside of work, Danielle enjoys making the most of Upper Peninsula summers with her family and friends, watching her children play sports, and vacationing to Florida and Mexico any chance she can get.
