About Andrew Pap, MD

Andrew Pap, M.D., is an interventional cardiologist at UP Health System – Marquette, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease. His clinical interests include percutaneous coronary interventions, transcatheter aortic valve implantation, patent foramen ovale and atrial septal defect closure, and percutaneous mechanical pulmonary thrombectomy.

A Marquette native, Dr. Pap returned to the Upper Peninsula to practice medicine and raise his family. He earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency, cardiovascular disease fellowship and interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison. During his cardiovascular disease fellowship, he served as chief fellow.

Outside of work, Dr. Pap enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, volleyball, biking, basketball and spending time with his wife and children.
