Nicole Couveau, Named UP Health System - Bell 2022 Mercy Award Winner
May 20, 2022
UP Health System – Bell recently announced that Nicole Couveau, Administrative Assistant, has been recognized as the UP Health System – Bell 2022 Mercy Award Recipient. The Mercy Award recognizes one employee from each of LifePoint Health’s facilities who profoundly touches the lives of others and best represents the spirit and values on which the company was founded.
The Mercy Award is an annual recognition program established in 2002 to honor the life and contributions of Scott Mercy, LifePoint’s founding chairman and chief executive officer. The award is considered the highest honor a LifePoint employee can receive.
“At UP Health System – Bell, we share LifePoint’s commitment to making communities healthier, and we recognize this is supported by the good work and service of our employees on and off the job,” said Mitch Leckelt, CEO of UP Health System – Bell. “We are extremely proud to recognize Nicole for her efforts on behalf of our patients and our community. She goes above and beyond each and every day to ensure that every person she encounters receives the highest level of care and compassion. Nicole is an inspiration to her fellow employees for a variety of reasons – she sets a good example and is consistent in her work ethic – everybody knows what to expect from Nicole and she gives everything she works on 100% every time.”
Nicole is very deserving of the UP Health System – Bell Mercy Award, as she truly exemplifies the Core Values of Lifepoint. She is a dedicated co-worker, a committed community member, and a compassionate friend.
Each hospital winner, including Nicole, will be considered for LifePoint’s 2022 companywide Mercy Award. The company-wide winner will be announced later this year and honored during a ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee, to which Nicole and all facility winners are invited to attend.
